Area Web Site Committee Report - February 2002

Greetings from cyber-space! I read recently that over half of the American population surfs the Internet . . . growing evidence that this medium of communication is indeed one more tool to help us in General Service do our work!

I regrettably had to miss the committee meeting in Mankato on February 2 due to illness. Our Webmaster, Nick H., also could not be there. We therefore did not have a committee meeting that day. If you have anything that you would like to communicate to me or to the committee, please e-mail me at website@area36.org. We always want to hear from you!

We’ve been busy updating our current web site, and our Webmaster is creating a new, more welcoming and inclusive look for the site. All districts have been invited to post information on their district page on our site, and so far ten districts have done so! They are Districts 1, 2, 3, 13, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 24.

If your district has not yet posted anything on your page, we welcome you to do so. It’s easy: just send me the information and we’ll post it! (Preferably in an electronic Word document, e-mailed to me or mailed on a diskette. But even handwritten will work!)
