Topic 1 -- Conference Agenda Items -- How different
areas handle workshops, etc.?
- Agenda items are sent out to Area Committee Chairs to be
discussed in their committee meetings. Some areas send all
background to all DCM's, Area Officers, and Committee Chairs.
- Pre-Assembly meetings do get out the information.
- Workshops follow guidelines of Regional Conference.
- Using Past Delegates to discuss agenda items.
Topic 2 -- How do you know when you are ready to stand
for delegate?
- Moving through the service structure.
- Having time to serve.
- Stand for office when eligable.
- Service manual.
Topic 3 -- How do different areas use Past Delegates?
- Using on Area committees.
- Use as a source of service knowledge in some Areas. Past
Delegates carry a vote in assemblies.
- Some Areas admitted that they do not use Past Delegates.
Topic 4 -- How do Delegates get Conference Reports
out?
- Zone meetings (several districts in one place).
- District meetings.
- Go anywhere asked.
- Conferences and conventions.
