Beginning balance was $795.87
Contributions were $34.62 and expenses were $52.27
Ending balance was $778.22.

did get a hold of Lamoyne S. Lamoyne gave Doug the name and number of the man he needed to talk to about the meeting schedule for the Faribault Alano clulb. He questioned if he needed to change the name of the location for the Cornerstone meeting place? He also had a question about the Stepsister’s meeting. Is it a closed meeting or not? Meeting schedule size will change because of Kwik Copy.

Patty had a flyer for a workshop in District 19
October 23rd is an Area Assembly. It is an election Assembly
District elections will be at the October meeting
Patty will be trying to get an outside AA member to help with the election process.

GSR reports should include information on glossary to the big book input, input on the Pigeon Policy, and who may be willing to host and plan the Holiday party.

Wasn’t at the last group conscience meeting. Mary Lou is still sitting in as GSR. She will call with information as soon as she knows who the new GSR will be.

PI Luncheon – no one volunteered to help
Terry volunteered to help in the hospitality suite at Hiawathaland
They are going to donate once a year to the General Service Office in New York
They have been redistributing their stack of the District meeting schedule

They have a strong group that is growing and enthusiastic. Larry added that they have decided to contribute to GSO. Larry sat in on a group conscience meeting at a Vision-4-U meeting. He said they had decided against a glossary for the Big Book.

Next month: is there a group willing to host the holiday party? Is there a group willing to plan it?

PI Luncheon on September 29th. She sent letters to professionals in Northfield. The planning committee met and they split the names to do the follow up call. Four called back, three said yes and one said no.

Family Focus dates are Wed. October 6th, Thurs. Night Big Book. And Thursday, October 7th, Third Tradition Group.

Hiawathaland Suite – sloppy joes and condiments, with coffee being provided by district. The committee asked that if people from the district are going, that they please bring snacks for the suite.
Committee chairs please have information ready to pass on to new chairs.

Keep passing out the district schedules.
Patty asked if anyone was registered for the international in Toronto? Yes there was one.
New meeting at UCC Church. AA/NA (2 separate meetings), on Saturday’s at 7:00 p.m.

September 18th Area Inventory at Hennepin Tech. Center
October 21st is District elections
December 4th is the Area Committee Meetings in Mankato
District Holiday Party will be the regular meeting night in December.
