GSR REPORTS

Serenity Group:

Duane: got the information about volunteers for committees and will discuss it at the next group conscience meeting.

Thursday Big Book

Terry: most of the group members volunteer at their other Groups, so Terry is willing to be a volunteer for his group. They are willing to be back-ups for the Jail/Annex meetings for other groups with the commitments.

Cornerstone

Doesn’t believe that the GSR had an opportunity to ask for volunteers at their last group conscience meeting. But Larry is also willing to help out.

Center Group

Will be in touch with the GSR and get back to Anne with volunteers names.

Vision 4 U

Tom H.: Anne M. is a home group member there and so they already have a volunteer on the committee. They had a barbeque at one of their home group meetings and had a good turn out.

Third Tradition Group

Doug C.: For Unity Picnic two volunteers are Mary S. and Missy P. And for the CPC/PI luncheon the volunteer is Niles A. Third Tradition would like to make a proposal to make a change in the big book. Delete sentence on page 279 that reads, “But with many drinking had been little more than sometimes an uncontrollable nuisance.” GSR please bring back to your home groups. We will discuss this at the next district meeting. Moving ahead with plans to cooperate with Al-Anon. The couch has been removed.

Annex rotation: Vision 4U male- Center group female. Jail rotation: Cornerstone

Reminder that Step-sisters group are willing to help with women’s Annex/Jail. Possibility of rotation change-can this be on the agenda for next month. Volunteer forms need to be turned in to the jail by July 1st. It might be a good idea to have all volunteers from your group turn them all in at once. These forms are in PDF file. Patty also has extra forms.

Public Information
