Committee Reports
Corrections
- (passes proposed Jail Annex meeting format) Our suggestion is to delete
"study from the Doctor's Opinion and the first 4 chapters of the Big Book"
and replace it with "study from the Big Book". District agreed to accept this
change to the Jail Annex meeting format.
- Jail Annex meeting, July - September: Center Group will cover the women's
meeting, Vision 4 U will cover the men's meeting.
- Lois P., Corrections Co-Chair, will ask Mike L. is he could come to the
next District meeting to discuss how the weekly Prison meeting could be made
available to District 16 members.
CPC
- The chair is reviewing the CPC workbook and materials sent from
our Delegate.
Literature
- Report from the Delegate's Workshop: Our Area Literature Committee
agreed to support the current process for reviewing the proposed story
changes for the 4th edition of the Big Book - let our trusted servants
do their job, the proposed changes don't need to be brought before the
entire General Service Conference for approval. Our committee would like
to leave the existing prefaces from the 3rd edition, while adding a new
preface for the 4th edition. We also want to add the short form of the
12 Concepts and GSO's web address to the 4th edition.
