District 13 - March Minutes

Minneapolis Intergroup liaison- An updated brochure on Frequently Asked Questions about Intergroup is available;Intergroup is seeking financial assistance from Metro area Districts to continue American Sign Language interpreter service at it's Weekly Saturday morning Orientation meetings.This service has attracted some deaf & hard of hearing attendees in it's experimental period.A letter has been sent from the Office Manager with the specifics.

The State Correctional Facility at Rush City MN has made a request via the Northern & Southern Minnesota Area Correctional Committees for volunteers to hold weekly A. A.. Meetings for it's inmates.A sign-up sheet for group or individual participation is available.

The final budget for the District is nearly complete.The previous Treasurer needs to be contacted before finalizing for a vote.A preliminary budget was distributed in January, no substantial changes are anticipated.

Presentations were made on several of the General Service Conference Agenda items;the balance will be presented at the April District meeting.GSR's are encouraged to discussed these with their groups and share on them at the April District meeting.
