Quick District Information

General Service Meeting

District 18 meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM at the First Christian Church at 2201 1st Ave. S. in Minneapolis, just across the street from "2218".  In General Service meetings, we discuss the business of bringing AA's message to the still suffering alcoholics of our district.  We also serve as the link between our AA groups and the General Service structure.  Meetings are open to all members of Alcoholics Anonymous.  We especially encourage attendance by our district's GSR's (General Service Representatives), Alternate GSR's and any other AA member who's interested in General Service opportunities.

District Boundaries

Inner Metro; west of the Mississippi River, east of France Avenue, south of Broadway Avenue and north of Crosstown (Highway 62).

Big Book Drive Continues!

District 18 is metropolitan Minneapolis and is a bountiful district of suffering alcoholics. Big Books collected will be distributed at 1800 Chicago Detox (a priority), treatments, and wherever there is a need. If your District or home group has excess funds or books, please consider making a contribution to our Big Book Drive. Please post a flyer at your home group or club.
